Lindsay Mueller is the Managing Director of Program Innovations at the Women’s Business Development Center, where she leads a collaborative, cross-functional team focused on igniting small business growth through access to resources, networks, equitable policies and capacity building

programming.

Lindsay began her career working as a Deputy Headquarters Manager for Barack Obama’s 2008 residential campaign, coordinating the operations of a fast-paced and quickly-growing organization. Following her time on the campaign, she served as the Director of Operations at the White House. She managed the operations of 8 buildings, 640+ staff, and directed the first major White House renovation in 35 years; a $300M project.

In 2011, Lindsay came home to Chicago and began working for Mayor Rahm Emanuel where she designed small business policies and programs that helped businesses grow in neighborhoods throughout Chicago.

Across her time in private, public and non-profit sectors, Lindsay has a record of success in strategizing, developing, and implementing multifaceted policies and programs that foster inclusive economic growth.
