Isaiah Spears

My name is Isaiah Spears, the new Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships with ChicagoMSDC. ChicagoMSDC Certifies, Advocates, Develops, and Connects minority businesses (MBEs) with major buying organizations and government entities. The Council operates the Northwest Indiana MSDC, and the MBDA Business Center –Missouri. In my new role, I will serve as the point of contact for all corporate relationship management and act as a liaison to provide a comprehensive approach connecting the Council’s corporate clients with certified MBEs to meet product and service needs.

Prior to joining the Council, I was a Community Business Ally at Allies for Community Business, where I was responsible for facilitating initiatives that drove economic growth and developing and cultivating strategic partnerships within communities around Chicagoland.

I am also a U.S. Veteran, having completed one tour in Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and I continue to serve as a Senior Intelligence Sergeant in the Army Reserves. I am committed to volunteerism, public service and I am actively involved in several Chicagoland community organizations and justice-based initiatives.
