Bio:
Shamik is responsible for setting the global marketing strategy and governing the execution of
programs that build market eminence and enable our technology platforms in communications,
software, video and services to deliver on their full business promise. Prior to this role, he was the
solutions and services lead for Asia Pacific, responsible for integration, delivery and managed and
support services. Previously, Shamik held roles as the Asia Pacific and Middle East marketing
operations lead and global product and solutions marketing lead. He began his career at Motorola
as a research engineer and prior to Motorola worked at Deloitte as a strategy consultant.
Shamik earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of
Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he specialized in advanced digital communications systems.
